How do I save this excel file ?

I have a excel file attached in word docx.


How do I save this excel file ?


i did a right click on excel , then copy.....but in  then I don't get paste menu.

I also don't see any save choice when I do a right click on attached excel.

I suppose the first question is who embedded the file that way?


Secondly you should be able to right click on the Excel icon in the word document and select to save the file. or export it.

Can't you double-click on the file to open it, then go to file > Save As?

Maybe I'm not understanding the situation though.

It may not be the only way but personally I would open the document (double click or right click as shown below) and then save it once Excel opens.
