I think that this is one of the dumbest descriptions of something i ever saw.

I always thought that if you dont have something smart to say (write) dont say (write) anything at all :)

Huh? So you're saying that people shouldn't be surprised/a little worried that their phone looks vastly different than it did before?

I'm not saying it, i'm saying that this description is suited to 6 year old kids.

I donno, just my feeling.

Agreed. I had someone ring up today and ask when we were going to deploy iOS7 to our devices - and could he have it "now".

>_<

you mean they should have sell the update like a steve ballmer commercial for windows 1.0, or play a steve ballmer dancing monkey routine. you know. gawd forbid users shouldn't get too unexciting about it.

The description is entirely too vague and aside from that, the majority of the population (non techies) won't/didn't read the description anyways. They just saw an update and hit download. They were probably wondering why it was taking so long and then it finishes and they look at their phone and say WTF!

Yes because you just have to bring MS into this when it's not about them in the least.

Going by my Facebook news feed most people seem to like the new look, however i've seen many screen shots of people annoyed the download time. Its been up to 144 hours in one screenshot i've seen.

When used to have an iPhone, I always waited at least 24 hours before applying the update (if not longer) due to the crappy speeds on first launch. As a result I've never had the problems everyone else had :P

This is exactly the same as lining up 2 days ahead of time near an apple store to buy the new iPhone when it comes out or just wait a bit or order online :)

People want to have new stuff the SECOND it comes out :)

Yeah I've never felt the need to have it right away (except for Windows releases :p)

You MS freak :)

I have never and would never line up so much a head of time to get something. It's just insane. Specially when today you can just order it online....

People who attempt to turn a thread into a troll fest are moderated accordingly. One: you're not making a whole lot of sense, and secondly: this topic is about iOS 7, not Microsoft.

I sense a ban coming.

On topic though, another example of people being afraid of change.

Afraid or just shocked at first till they get used to it. I mean it's not drastically different from 6, it's got some nice additions and i'm not even a fan of iOS in general.
