InTheSwiss
Just wondered if anyone else has the same problem with Firefox 24 and Adobe Flash Player 11.8. Basically when using flash player for audio (such as on YouTube or any flash based video player on news site for example) if I pause then resume playback it causes a total crash of the audio system requiring a reboot to restore sound playback from any application e.g. Winamp or WMP. My audio drivers have been the same for years and I have never had this issue before (my laptop is quite old). I followed the Adobe website instructions to fully uninstall Flash 11.8 and installed 11.7 from the Flash Player archive on their site and the problems seems to be solved which makes me think it is an issue specific to Flash 11.8 or possibly Firefox 24. My audio card is an IDT HD Audio card in my Dell Studio 17 laptop.
remixedcat
Do you have both a flash and pepper flash plugin? About:plugins
InTheSwiss
Do you have both a flash and pepper flash plugin? About:plugins Nope. Just Flash, Google Update (part of Chrome I believe, not sure why it has a Firefox plugin?) and SilverLight.
