Rappy Veteran Posted September 19, 2013 Veteran Share Posted September 19, 2013 Deadline is reporting that Bryan Cranston has been cast as Dalton Trumbo, the infamous Hollywood Screenwriter who defied the odds and broke the blacklist that prevented him from writing; he did so by writing under various aliases. His battle against the blacklist alienated him from many people, friends and family alike. Ultimately though, his battle against the blacklist succeeded and he forced Hollywood and Washington's hand in ending the blacklist once and for all. Due to Trumbo's 2014 start date, this almost guarantees that Cranston is now out of the running for Lex Luthor in Man of Steel 2/Batman Vs. Superman/Whatever they call it. There is still a chance that the date for either movie could be moved, and do keep in mind that the 2014 Man of Steel 2 start date is still rumored.
