10 Retailers That Will Let You Return Anything

Here are 10 retailers with ridiculously relaxed return policies.

1. Anthropologie

"All Anthropologie merchandise is unconditionally guaranteed."

2. Athleta

The Gap-owned retailer will take back any item, for any reason, at any time.

3. Costco

Every product can be returned to Costco warehouses for any reason. The only time restrictions are for electronics, which must be returned within 90 days.

4. CVS beauty products

CVS will take back any beauty product purchase, even if its opened. No questions asked.

5. Eddie Bauer

"Every item we sell will give you complete satisfaction or you may return it for a full refund," Eddie Bauer states.

6. Kohl's

"Return any item, at any time, for any reason," Kohl's writes. Even without a receipt, the retailer will give a refund, exchange, or merchandise credit.

7. Land's End

"If you're not satisfied with any item, simply return it to us at any time for an exchange or refund of its purchase price," Land's End says.

8. L.L. Bean

L.L. Bean will let you return any item by mail and in-stores, with no authorization from customer service required.

9. Nordstrom

"The return policy is that there is no return policy," a spokesman, Colin Johnson, told Fox Business. The bottom line is that we work with our customer."

10. Trader Joe's

The grocery chain will give a full refund on its private-label products. "We taste everything before we put our name on it and offer only what we feel is extraordinary," its website says. "We tried it. We like it. If you don't, bring it back for a refund or exchange ? no hassles."

Club Trader Joe's, a review website unaffiliated with the store, notes: "If you are unsatisfied with anything you buy there for whatever reason, they will give you a refund at the cash register no question asked."

This has to be a 'Murica list.. Costco is the only retailer remotely close to me - and they are still over an hours drive away. Wonder how much the pricing is jacked up at these locations? I know Costco requires you to get a paid membership, or get someone with a paid membership to buy a cash card for you to shop there.

screw the return policy. I love Costco for their hotdogs (at least in 'Nada).

I can't speak for most of these, but Costco and Kohls do not jack up their prices.

 

The membership for Costco is worth the savings if you buy in bulk.

Costco has amazing food, especially the pizza, ice cream, hotdogs. The size of the pizza slices and the amount of ice cream you get is extraordinary!  I wish I could eat at Costco for lunch or dinner every day!

I like their chicken bakes and their ice cream frozen yogurt.

Kohl's only gave me merchandise credit for a returned jacket -- no refund. :s

Costco is probably the best place there is when it comes to returns. Even in the UK.

 

I had one of their fridges for over 5 years and it broke down. They let us exchange it without any hassle.

Yeah it is only relatively recent that their electronics went to 90 days max.

 

I am thinking that probably applies to appliances now too.

hands down the worst is canadian tire. pretty sure soon they will start taking your fingerprints for returning something.

Yep. I never buy there for this reason. I had to return something once and it was a really painful experience.

I think they limit returns on Electronics to 30 or 90 days.

 

I've forgotten. I returned, got a refund, for a Vizio TV that went screwy after 33 days.

As an added convenience for customers, Walmart has adjusted its return policy for the holiday gift buying season for items that have a limited return/exchange period (15 days, 30 days, etc.). For these items purchased between Nov. 1 and Dec. 24, the limited return period will begin Dec. 26. This includes items such as TVs, cameras, computers, DVD and music players that can have a 15-30 day return period.

Haha return without a receipt reminds me of the scene from Garden State. One of the characters walks into a store, picks up an item off the shelf, goes to the counter and "returns" it saying "they don't need a receipt for items under $20" - in effect walking out with $20 of the stores money!

I've never had problems with Walmart either, but I've never waited more than a week or so to return something.

Target's return policy is pretty good, too. If I return an electronics item to Walmart, they make me got back to the Electronics dept. and have a worker verify the contents of the box.

 

Target, on the other hand, actually trusts me and processes the return immediately.

Amazon are pretty fantastic for returns.

 

You don't even have to pay to send things back, it's all pre-paid (even if you just decide you simply don't want the product).
