On Jimmy Kimmel, people were asked whether they liked Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act (which are the same). Watch the video, it is quite hilarious!

It's not surprising at all. As he points out, when you break it down most people agree with the individual elements. Unfortunately too many people would rather place their faith in other people's judgement than to think critically for themselves. In fact that's the very reason that religion still has such influence to this day, as people would rather be told by others what is right and wrong.

It's not uncommon for people to be unhappy with a president, thus it's certainly not outrageous to believe an act nicknamed "Obamacare" would receive negative attention, if but only for the name.

 

People talk out their ass every single day, and this doesn't really change anything. All it proves is that people don't really know what's going on, and only grab ahold of generic ideas to justify the things they say. I wish people would admit when they don't know whatever the hell it is they're talking about and leave it at that. Sucks having to listen to someone rant on and on, having to cringe nodding your head hoping they'll keep their ignorance to themselves...
