If there were some sort of life form out there im sure it would be witnessed by now. All this is just a waste of time and money, there is no one out there.

Replace 'life form' with 'god'.

yes we exist, that is fact, nothing to prove here, but to use that logic(which is flawed) and to back your assumptions on unknown planets, well, its your opinion, and that's not proof.

as for your last comment, ad hominem.

Why is out flawed logic? Even if you narrow your search field to earthlike planets even we've found similar ones in the extremely tiny area of space that we can see.

Remember when Hubble looked at an area of space thought to be empty? Look at what it saw.

Religion, The Bible etc... were given to us by the aliens. A lot happened on earth , I don't  beleive crap on what scientists say these days. In almost every country there were archeological vestiges wich link to aliens.

Secrets, lies and slander ! The truth is in the Vatican City basements : our origin , our technology.

I tend to beleive aliens actually influenced us and our technology by wars , by favouring one country for a brief amount of time.

Technology perked civs were the Romans for example. Or Greeks . Germans and their infamous warmachine - thats when technology actually updates and changes, through wartime.

All those "dead" planets around us , no signs of life or ugly green bastards yet Terra is flourishing in this vast corner of the space- interesting .

We might find humans out there or an isolated civ. over some years .

I am just having some fun , sprouting wrong ideeas perhaps.

No surprise, I mean according to Jehovah's Witnesses, dinosaurs never existed either...

There are lots of christian sects that believe dinosaur bones are fake or were put there by the devil to tempt us.  Or they believe that man and dinosaurs existed at the same time.  This is because someone added up some stuff in the bible and proclaimed that God created the earth ~4000BC.  That isn't in the bible at all.  Some guy just came up with that and now gullible (i.e., most) Christians believe it as bible truth.

I think that the issue many Christians have is that they believe God breathed life into man and man was created in God's image.  Many Christians out-right-reject the notion that mankind is a part of the animal kingdom.  Animals are separate from man according to biblical interpretations.  God created animals for man.

The notion of there being other intelligent beings out there would be counter to the Christian belief of human exceptionalism through God.

Gratuitous ideological speculation. Pretty silly to try to push the science-faith conflict theory based on belief in extraterrestrial life, i.e. purely hypothetical entites.

In fact, a dogmatic belief in extraterrestrial life betrays a lack of understanding in basic math and science.

It's always funny to see how people ascribe the beauty of DNA as an intelligent code and language to cold mechanistic Mother Nature and evolution, but "OMG LIFE OUT THERE" when repetitive radio pulses (like the regularity of crystal lattices) from the oscillations of distant quasars and pulsars are harvested by Earth's radio telescopes.

spectacular!
one of the beautiful sights iv'e seen.

still, until solid evident, it's still an assumption my friend.

a quick thought that came to mind, suppose we have another earth out there, do you think it's corrupted and full of violence as ours?

divided, and full of unsolved problems?

would be able to communicate with them through a language?

would they have cars?

all this question can be asked as one: do they evolved as we are, or their way ahead of us?

interesting questions, but can we really answer them?

We exist don't we? Why would you say there aren't other planets out there with life on them?

But if you believe we were created by a God then fair enough, no point arguing.

Because sheer numbers don't mean a thing. There's 6 x 10^23 atoms in a mole, but that doesn't mean that mole starts moving and reproducing.

People who exclude God, and who are intelligent enough to tally the numbers, realise quickly that the probabilities of chemistry and biology offer them no case for life.

The notion of there being other intelligent beings out there would be counter to the Christian belief of human exceptionalism through God.

4004 BC is in the Bible, calculated through the chrono-genealogies. A careful exegetical study of the Jewish texts and contexts excludes the notion of gaps in the genealogies.

The universality of Adam's sin and the saving work of Jesus logically denies any possibility of extraterrestrial life. All creation is cursed because of Adam, including any hypothetical intelligent or even hyper-intelligent aliens out there who were not given the choice not to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Jesus came to earth as a man to redeem mankind, not aliens, though the redemption through mankind is likewise universal.

Plenty of theological food for thought there, and leads to my already foregone conclusion that there is no such thing as extraterrestrial life, and any rumours of abductions and visitations are either deceptions by demonic spirits / fallen angels or elaborate human hoaxes.

I was taught God created us to love and worship him and he love us back.

makes sense since people have a knack to worship. just that some worship in other ways but we have a deep desire to worship something in general.

Why would they need redemption?

Why do we? Oh, right, the supreme creator set it up that way.

And that should be the same for any other kind of life in the universe why?

There is a conservative estimate of 100 Billion planets in our galaxy alone. That is a lower limit. There could easily be more. There's at least 200 Billion galaxies in our observable universe. So that's probably around 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 planets on our observable universe.  With those kinds of numbers would you not think it's highly probable life could be out there?

Earlier you dismissed it like you thought it was funny people could believe in extra terrestrial life.

I doubt god would pass up an opportunity to have another group of sentient beings grovelling for forgiveness.

Well said, you know if religious nutjobs thought more like us, the world would be a much better place, dont you think?
