This is annoying. I'm now being redirected to Facebook's sub-optimal mobile site on my Surface tablet, and there appears to be no means of escape. Can anyone tell me how to get back to the full site? Typing in the web address doesn't work, as I'm just redirected back to the mobile site.

This wouldn't be an issue if Microsoft would hurry up with the damn Facebook app for Windows 8.

try facebook.com   instead of m.facebook.com

I think there is a link at the bottom of the page that allow you to switch mobile/desktop

Edit: If not working, then you might want to clear your cache.

There isn't. I've looked. And each time I type in Facebook.om, I'm instantly redirected to m.facebook.com, even though I have never used the mobile site.

There's nothing like that linking off the mobile site.

Did you try to clear the cache or reboot?

Close the browser completely then try again.. if not working,

then reboot surface then see if you got it working

Tried numerous times. Didn't work. I was instantly redirected back. Did Facebook mark the tablet as a mobile device?

I don't know what else to help you out ....

I don't think so that Facebook mark the tablet as mobile device but I can view either mobile or desktop version on mine.... no problem.

Try Firefox or other browser and see if you want desktop version until the fix is available for you.

Looks like I'm being redirected because I don't have JavaScript enabled? Huh? What the heck...
