Blasst Posted October 6, 2013 Share Posted October 6, 2013 this is getting on my nerves. My Macbook is ringing several times a day like a phone. I have Skype installed but have never used it although it is set up and ready to go. Is it possible for me to receive rings if skype isn't even open. I was told I'd see a missed call mark if that had happened. What the hell is going on? Could I have two versions of skype on this thing and not know it? That doesn't make sense either I'll look at the hard drive. This new macbook pro has been very buggy. I may sell it and buy a used 17 inch. I gues if someone can call on facetime without the program open that is what it was. What do they need ....a telephone numer, or name or what? Oh just looked at it. So I sign on with an apple ID. I have a feeling it is a girl I know wanting to ask about some shoes I bought and am shipping her. I found some badapp (or whatever it is called) calls in my junk mail folder. I know she uses an Ipad with that on it cuz she told me last week.........and we all know how women are about new shoes on the horizen. I think the problem is cured......but I still wonder why I got no pop up or something alerting me. actually I wil look in the sound settings and see what it is set on.
