Partially hidden is the same to me as not hidden at all. 

 

Depends on what you're hiding from.  Seeing as it's pretty much impossible to hide from the NSA until the US gov sort out their laws, hiding at least from companies that will seek to spam you with their garbage is probably good enough for most people.

^ That is true but personally I feel that it's no one's business what I do online, not any company and certainly not any government. I know in real life that ain't gonna fly but I want my privacy.

If it's any consolation, they don't particularly care what you're up to online unless you hit one of their triggers in your wanderings.

 

Not that that excuses what they're doing in any way...
