I guess you haven't been on the retail or distributor side of phone sales and aren't aware of how Samsung literally buys marketshare and mindshare. There's no "difference" though: Nokia is pushing with the cheapest stuff they can release, which is what they said would happened if they had gone with Android. Samsung basically gives away their phones at huge losses when buying a market. over promising on warranties. making stores want to sell them because they get to sell them cheap and make good profits. the warranties they claim they're supposed to have gives the idea of high quality, so people buy them and thinks they have good quality devices. After they have bought the market, they reduce the quality increase the prices and kills the longer warranties. you can see the same with their TV's. the series 5 used to be good sets, but now that they've bought the TV market, the series 6 is now in the quality segment the 5 used to be and the 5 has pretty horrible PQ. and they're now working on buying the laptop and white goods markets over here, so they're doing the same ###### they're. distributors are basically telling to stores to buy samsungs while they're still buying the markets because there's so much more money to be made because Samsung gives them away so cheap to stores. Nokia like most companies don't have the cash to fight back when samsung is buying a market. the money they throw away to do this is insane. Where are those benchmarks? There's no "difference" though: Nokia is pushing with the cheapest stuff they can release, which is what they said would happened if they had gone with Android.
