For crying out loud!

Yeah, I will probably get  , but....

There is no such thing as "should of". The correct way is "should have" or "should've". Thank you for your support. :woot:

I hear you, I see it every day online :)

The majority will prevail, even if it's wrong :(

I agree with the OP - writing could/should/would of is an atrocity and should be punished by forcing the guilty one to watch all warwagon videos in one sitting.

You see the same thing on the phone... something like this:

u b home by 9p ...      r u go out tonite ?

I have no complaint about it... but

if you are writing for work, you can be perfect...

otherwise everywhere else such as phone, internet,   we don't care if we make mistake... you know better....  that we have keyboard on phone that screws the words up if you don't pay attention to it.

That's pretty harsh man :-|

It's a forum, and people make mistakes. If the grammar nazis are going to take things like this serious, then they should also complain about people that use chat speak (eg. LOL) and emoticons, since both of those are unprofessional and/or grammatically incorrect.

I think most people of reasonable intelligence can figure out when its time to use it and when its not.

Hate to say, but internet forum is not one of those places!

Most people are not on here in a professional sense and thus have little or no real need to be as correct, as some folk would like, or can accept.

Some of you people must really hate me because I think I have used "should of" before, but then again I'm not the best at grammar or spelling. :)

Should of is not even a grammatical error, just two unrelated words thrown together.

"Should of" still makes sense to me and since people haven't corrected me, they must understand what I mean.
