I suggest you download from official manufacture site, drivers in CD are usually very old while new driver seems mostly improve performance.

Download latest Audio driver from Realtek site: http://www.realtek.com/downloads/downloadsCheck.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

Your board make, ASUS, site should have the drivers you need. They may not be the latest, but they do however work 9/10.

Installing it on a SSD is no different than installing it on a HDD. The only other thing you may want is change from IDE mode to AHCI mode.

@Zlip - That link keeps messing up, here's the correct site: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=23&PFid=23&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

Download drivers from Intel and Realtek.

Get Realtek's latest drivers.

Get the latest Intel INF och Intel RST (for SATA [AHCI] and RAID) from Intel's website.

CDs and motherboard manufacturers' websites contain old drivers. They are only useful for getting the latest firmware for the board or getting specific drivers for when the chip manufacturer's driver isn't compatible.

While you're at it, make sure you have the latest firmware (BIOS/UEFI) and that all the settings are perfect before you reinstall everything.
