I was wondering whether anyone had any recommendations for a good handheld vacuum. Something I can use to clean my desk, spills, crumbs, etc.

Keep in mind I am in Aus and some types available to you mightn't be here. I read about one called a Dirt Devil Gator. It had good reviews but I can't seem to find it here in Aus.

Can't go wrong with a Dyson DC34.

I'm not sure if this will be of any help, compl3x, but the best handheld vacuum I have used is the classic Dirt Devil Hand Vac.

Do you want it to be cordless or with cord?

We just bought a 6V Hoover cordless vacuum, it's ok but nothing special. +1 for dyson, but the price just puts me off. Had a Dyson dc01 which superb.

My grandparents have one of the handheld devices as my gran can't carry a big vacuum around 5 flights of stairs, and they've got nothing bad to say about it.
