Has anyone else played this yet? Its from telltale games (the ones that made the walking dead games). I don't even know much about the fables comics its based on, I just took and chance and bought it because I really liked The Walking Dead games, and I am glad I did. The first episode was excellent! Great story, setting, characters, and voice acting. Can't wait for more episodes :)

Yea picked it up yesterday, not that far into it yet. Haven't even heard of the comics, but rather liked their Walking Dead and Monkey Island games, this one looked interesting so figured "why not". Enjoying it so far, may have to look into the comics down the road.

Want to get it Viper, just out of interest in Telltale, like most people I suppose. But its not out on 360 yet where I am, so will wait. Not getting the PC version, Walking Dead was less than optimized, to put it mildly.

It runs better than TWD did on my pc (on TWD I had to put shadows on low to play without bad stuttering), but in this game I have all settings maxed with 60fps and no stuttering. There is an annoying bug on my machine where when I open the game its just a black screen until I go to the ctrl alt del screen and then back to the desktop though.

Can you use a controller this time? With Walking Dead you had to friggin disconnect the controller or the game would reset settings and delete save files...

Afaik there is still a glitch where having a controller plugged in crashes the game, but there is a workaround: http://steamcommunit...38082244374584/

Yeah,  first episode was great...  I dont care about the small glitches, the story and art was really good.

I am looking forward to next episodes, and as much as i would prefer the play the whole game, i will not have the patience to wait, and will play each episode on release date.

Also looking forward to Walking Dead Season 2.... hopefully this year :)

I'll do what I did with TWD and wait until all the eps are released and buy the whole pack.

I've been waiting a while for Episode 2, it's been that long I can't remember a lot of details about the game. I think they're taking too long to roll these out personally, but I'm not complaining.. they have a lot of projects on.

.. Whether they're any good or not is up for debate. xD

Telltale founder Kevin Bruner wrote:

"The episode is looking really good (as is the rest of the season!). We are very concerned about the long delay for this episode, but this is one of those occasions where several things conspired against us (not to mention the additional delays due to the holidays). I won't dive into the details, but it's been an unusual and specific set of circumstances and we do not anticipate it happening again as we go forward with the rest of the season."

So hopefully they have learnt from their mistakes and will be able to get the remaining episodes out far quicker.
