ViperAFK Posted October 13, 2013 Share Posted October 13, 2013 Has anyone else played this yet? Its from telltale games (the ones that made the walking dead games). I don't even know much about the fables comics its based on, I just took and chance and bought it because I really liked The Walking Dead games, and I am glad I did. The first episode was excellent! Haven't even heard of the comics, but rather liked their Walking Dead and Monkey Island games, this one looked interesting so figured "why not". ViperAFK Posted October 16, 2013 Author Share Posted October 16, 2013 It runs better than TWD did on my pc (on TWD I had to put shadows on low to play without bad stuttering), but in this game I have all settings maxed with 60fps and no stuttering. There is an annoying bug on my machine where when I open the game its just a black screen until I go to the ctrl alt del screen and then back to the desktop though. I am looking forward to next episodes, and as much as i would prefer the play the whole game, i will not have the patience to wait, and will play each episode on release date. I think they're taking too long to roll these out personally, but I'm not complaining.. they have a lot of projects on. .. We are very concerned about the long delay for this episode, but this is one of those occasions where several things conspired against us (not to mention the additional delays due to the holidays). I won't dive into the details, but it's been an unusual and specific set of circumstances and we do not anticipate it happening again as we go forward with the rest of the season."
