Alright, so I recently switched to a mini-itx mobo and case, and I noticed a problem while I was "burning in" my thermal paste last night.
My i5 3570k normally scores about 48 gigaflops @ stock clocks in LinX.. but as soon as the monitors go into standby, you can see the score (history) immediately goes down to ~18 gigaflops.
What's going on here? My windows power options plan is set to "high performance".. and I've never had a problem before with intel c-states doing stuff like this when the monitor goes to standby..
Edit: Disregard this post! Solved! Issue was Logitech Setpoint cpu usage spiking when win7 was locked.
