I am perplexed after reading that there are people still using Internet Explorer 6, which is 11 years old now. Why are people still using IE6?

The reason is the schools and companies who stick with it. Also, those who think IE 6 does everything they need it to do. IE is Windows XP era guys!!!! Get off of it or die!

That is absolutely crazy, there have been 4 ( almost 5) internet explorers released now. I remember how amazing IE7 was when it came out with the new "tabs" feature.

We have to use it at my work for a specific site we need for our reactive works. The site is managed by Telefonica so its not as if they don't have the funds to update the system. What's worse is the same team that need IE6 also need IE9 so its Win7+XP mode but some of these PC are old Pentium D's and they struggle. I've also been trying to get these updated but that's a struggle too.
