I would be curious to know why you need any 3rd party partition software.. What exactly are you doing that such a tool is needed, and how often do you do it that you should fork over hard earned cash for it?
Every OS on the planet can manipulate the disks to create the partitions it needs to function and create its own filesystems, etc. Other than showing examples to people on how to do a thing - mostly here on neowin, I can not remember the last time I needed to actually do anything fancier than create a partition.
I would be very curious to why you have this need to fork over cash? When the OS comes with a very robust partition manager already built in. And even if you needed to do some odd ball thing once in a great while - the freeware ones are quite capable of anything I have ever even thought of doing.
