Tim Burton to direct "Beetlejuice" sequel?

At least according to The Schmoes, who reckon Tim Burton will be back terrorize and humorize a new generation of movie goers in the sequel (that's right, not reboot) to the '80s classic, Beetlejuice. It was already reported that former Batman Michael Keaton looked set to reprise the role, but now new inside info has Burton agreeing to helm the movie too. Apparently the director was thinking about dropping out of helming Miss Peregrine?s Home For Peculiar Children at 20th Century Fox so he could return and direct the new Beetlejuice, but now he's shifted his schedule and is looking to do both films. Obviously we'll have to keep a question mark over this until something official is announced, but if it pans out how would you guys feel about Burton returning to this world?

Wow, considering the huge gap between the two, I wonder if they can keep the feeling of the old movie going into the sequel. The same way you can tell between a 80s movie and a modern one. It will be interesting to see how they do it.
