[US] Internet on the Fritz today, it's not just you.

Recommended Posts

Seems like a lot of different ISPs are having issues with different websites. I go to Google.com and load up a search and the page is all janked. Some people were saying Facebook.com and Weather.com and CNN.com and tons of other sites aren't loading. This is all relative to the route your ISP takes to get you to that location.

Basically it all boils down to look like a Level3 outage somewhat. I use various DNS servers (4.2.2.x and 8.8.8.8 as secondary) but it just seems it varies by ISP and location as to which site works and which doesn't.

Just checked my usual IRC channel too and instead of the usual 1,400 people in there, it's 281. LOL.

11% and 5.6% packet loss on those level3 links.

Haven't noticed anything different from my usual surfing. All site work for me without any problems.

The only issue I had, was at singpost.com while trying to track my package. Get "We are experiencing a high volume of queries at the moment. Please try again later. We apologise for any inconvenience caused" error, but I doubt that's the result of the supposed "frtiz".

Maybe it's just the US so I've edited that for now:

Showing lots of tweets for Time Warner customers... it's more than just them though.

Only thing I've noticed today was the for some reason Play Music is randomly stopping playback, so resorted to using Spotify for a bit
