cooky560 Veteran Posted October 20, 2013 Veteran Share Posted October 20, 2013 Opening the app launches several pages in my browser that look the same as the app itself, re-installing hasn't fixed this problem. After closing them the app works fine, but its just strange.
Anibal P
Facebook needs to update their garbage, they've had more than enough time to get it right

Fish
FB Messenger has been doing this for me too lately. Win7. I blame messenger, it's not the first time I've seen it do this.
jordanspringer
I had to run facebook.com in compatibility mode. It appears LOTS of sites see the IE11 user agent string and determine you are running an old/outdated browser, when in reality, the website isn't designed to detect IE11 user agent strings. This is what was happening to google.com earlier last week too I believe, except Google fixed this, and Microsoft hadn't updated their compatibility lists yet.
