webeagle12
I'll make this story short: Over past month or so I noticed that I had bad heartburn and pain in my stomach. Although bad pain only happen in middle of my sleep and only twice so far ( other days it might bother me a little bit but it's not a daily pain) I turned to doctor. So far tests came back that I have H.pylori that causes ulcer to get infected. On Friday they too X rays for. I have another appointment Tuesday where doctor will start my treatment with antibiotics and other drugs. For a people who had them before, how long does it take to get rid of H. pylori and heal the ulcer usually? p.s: and yes I'm on diet right now and I started my diet couple weeks ago because I was pretty sure that I have ulcer. My mom had them and that how I found out that I probably have one. :/ :/
game_over
I've been diagnosed with H. Pylori twice.. the pain goes away after the first day of taking medication which is a massive relief... the treatment lasts 14-days and for the first week you'll be taking 8 tablets per day, then on the 2nd week it goes down to 2 (or 4, can't remember). Unfortunately i got it again about a year after treatment, went back for more tests and i had it again, done the treatment again and not had it since.. when i looked it up some people saying it took 3 treatments before it completely went away. Hope you get it sorted soon, it's such a horrible feeling.. I was getting it on a daily basis, and through the night it would wake me up, drinking a pint of water or eating eased the pain for a short while but then it would be back again. I'm quite a nervous/edgy person who can worry a lot i deal with stress and anxiety, mine stemmed from this. A friend of mine has been diagnosed with the same thing on a few days a go, he's about to start his treatment, his is also stress related. webeagle12 1 Share
webeagle12
Like I said I"m on diet, but is anything you would recommend that can heal ulcer faster that I might know of. I done a lot of research but still need your opinion. p.s: I heard bananas and honey helps alot. I usually have a spoon of honey twice a day and 2 bananas a day too about 30 min after each meal. game_over
I just used the medication, the pain has gone after 1 dose so it's pretty much neutralised from that point on, can't ask for quicker than that really.. then i guess the rest of the treatment is to make sure it's killed properly. I'm not sure there is a quicker way to do it. webeagle12 1 Share
