Game looks incredible, wondering if it will also support 3D, because if so, BONKERS.

Nice job. Was this your first time playing it? Was it on easy or something? Or are you just incredibly gifted at twin stick shooters?

btw, png files do not support layers,so I don't see how someone could have lifted your code.

 

huh? Anyway, PNGs do support layers in Fireworks.

 

Anyway part two... with all the power of the PS4 they still make side scrollers :-) I used to love levelling up the guns on RType until you're basically blasting everything on screen at once. Although some seem so fast and crazy these days that I think it's a skill to learn the movements rather than actually seeing what the hell is going on.

you can embed proprietary metadata in png,but it doesn't mean png supports layers. plus he took a screenshot from his phone, hes not using fireworks.

My 2nd shot. I had one go on the show floor in which I died within 1 minute lol. On stage I was walked through the controls properly where as on the show floor I was trying to learn the controls with a big queue behind me. 3D is not available at launch, I asked about it during the Housemarque developer session. They strongly hinted at a future patch.

 

btw, png files do not support layers,so I don't see how someone could have lifted your code.

 

It ended up just being a dud code I was sent.

 

Why does the game slow down and speed up like that? Are those frame rate drops or is that intended? It's kind of annoying.

 

The framerate is 60FPS without compromise. Slow downs you're seeing are either me using special abilities or the pretty crappy Nexus 4 camera recording.

Seriously, I think that might cause me to have a seizure, but I would love to see it. I still stand by the comment that SSHD is easily the best 3D game on the PS3. Easily. It lends itself perfectly to the effect, and this game is along those same lines. I seriously hope they do patch it in at some point, as all of those particle effects would literally be insane in 3D. As I said. BONKERS

Yeah I knew they were shooting for 60fps, I just wasn't sure if they hit it or not. I guess if the slow-mo is caused by the player it won't be too bad while you're actually playing, but damn if it isn't annoying while watching.
