It does amaze me how unaware some people are of how technology works.. when you're a system administrator and you get full administrative access to a system, it's a simple fact you've got the ability to view pretty much anything on that system. But as a system administrator, you should have the morals to know that it's wrong to do that and that you would only view that content if it were absolutely necessary - whatever that reason may be. This wouldn't just be the case for Neowin, but for ANY forum and virtually any system you have an account on - there will be a sysadmin on there who has rights to see anything on it. Hate to tell you this crushing news!
That is a total lack of disrespect but Ill swallow my pride and not reply....
Being a system administrator there are things you should never have access to: Example, on a Exchange mail server, you should never have access to their passwords, only the ability to reset them. More so, now that I mention it, user's passwords on here and other message forums are indeed encrypted and cannot be viewed (the only way would be to get the encrypted password and deencrypt it using the algorithm it was encrypted with and even then, if it was salted...).
