ABT Sportsline coming to the United States, will showcase an AS6 at SEMA

U.S. subsidiary opens early next year

 

ABT Sportsline has announced plans to launch a U.S. subsidiary in Cerritos, California early next year. To celebrate the occasion, ABT will showcase an AS6 at the SEMA Motor Show.

Based on the Audi A6 3.0 TDI quattro, the model will be equipped with a new power upgrade package that enables the engine to produce 286 HP (210 kW) and 678 Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 41 HP (30 kW) and 98 Nm (72 lb-ft).

The car will also be equipped with a styling package that consists of a front spoiler, revised side skirts and a rear bumper insert.

 

Other highlights include faux carbon fiber mirror caps, a rear spoiler and 20-inch ABT ER-C alloy wheels. Last but not least, the  model will have sport springs and high-performance brakes.
