Windows 8.1 weird driver issue

Since updating to windows 8.1 I've had an odd issue with my Ibuypower Valkyrie CZ15 laptop. Say for whatever reason I want to update my Realtek audio drivers, so I proceed to uninstall the current drivers and reboot. On next reboot, I notice my keyboard and trackpad no longer work. I have to log on using the on screen keyboard. Upon looking in the device manager, I notice this:

 

And when opened, each driver shows:

 I have tried everything, but each time the audio drivers are uninstalled, this occurs. Reinstalling the audio drivers doesn't fix it either. The only way this can be fixed is to restore the system to an earlier restore point. Does anyone have any ideas how I can remedy this?
