.Kompressor
Hi Rather than walking around with multiple DVD's or Bootable USB's. I would just like 1 of either. Like Vista Ultimate and Windows 7 Ultimate which version of windows 8.1 iso should I download from microsoft that can be used to install or repair any version of 8.1 I'm working on? Also after you confirm which version of 8.1 it is, does the option still exist if you delete ei.cfg file on the ISO during boot it will show the option to select which version of windows 8.1 I would like to install/upgrade or repair? It's been a while.... Thanks,
Gotenks98
Retail media does not work like Windows 7. There is no ei.cfg file. Because of that you must enter a product key to get which version of Windows 8.1 you want. Its like the reverse of Windows 7 in terms of the ei.cfg file.
