So I've had Neowin Pinned to Start via IE11's new Pin to Start Live tile feature for some time and it worked.. I have other sites pinned as well and they still work. However Neowin decided yesterday to stop working.. No more tile updates. I've tried Re-pinning the site to Start.. but no tile updates appear, I don't even get a 'turn live tile off/on' option when I hit customise(other pinned sites I have the option is still there)

Thoughts, ideas? Both Neowin and nbcnews pinned sites stopped working at the same time. sites that still work for me are Bing.com, CNN, WinBeta, wpcentral. techmeme

FYI, I'm talking about the IE11 Pin to Start feature for websites that have enabled just that, this has nothing to do with Apps

Here is a screenshot of what I see

The only way I've found to fix this is to turn off fast/hybrid boot. It's not just web sites that stop notifiying, apps do it to me too.

Makes sense, give it a real reboot. I'll give it a go there and report back

Edit: turned off Fast boot, shutdown and rebooted, still no tile content yet.. but the Live tile option did reappear

For me it shows news on the live tile, but only old(1day) news. (rebooted, turned off/on live tile)

Hmm does anyone have an idea where the Pin to Start data for the IE11 feature are stored? I maybe need to get rid of any prior entries to get it to work again

So speaking with the IE team, it seems there are issues with buildmypinnedsite.com right now, which Neowin uses
