Boo Berry
It doesn't sound good at all. Chips + chocolate = bad. Try eating Reeses' after eating Doritos... not good at all.

tomasse
whaaaaaaaaaat? It reminds me of a friend of mine, that once ate a steak covered with a thick layer of Nutella (about 10 years ago), just to prove he could do it. Well, he did it, but he didn't like it at all. I don't think we guys are the primary target audience for these - it's likely aimed at chocoholic females like my wife. She'd eat a bicycle tire if it were chocolate coated :/ Elliot B. and +Mirumir 2 Share

nukenorman
I have eatin lays wavy potatoe chips with chocolae before. I was hungry one time and had some chips and eat chocolate with it since its all I had. It is freaken disgusting those 2 combinations together.Lays does not care for it to taste good or not. why? because it says limited edition and they want everoyne to to try it ( millions of people ) and they dont care if you dont like it or not cause they got millions to buy it and since its limited edition it will just be pullled off the shelf. its a quick money maker for them. She will bite and eat it right off :ike:
Grinch
I'm doubting they'll just take normal lays chips and throw chocolate on them. They'll likely make a special batch of chips and coat them. I'll probably buy some to try them, usually don't eat chips too much.
nukenorman
yea you are probably right Grinch maybe a diff type of chip with not so much salt with the chocolate. I will probably try them too.

Denis W. Veteran Posted November 1, 2013 Veteran Share Posted November 1, 2013 My lord, just... no. Salt and sugar don't mix. AT ALL. Proof: try eating a burger made up of two Krispy Kreme donuts and tell me with a straight face that the mix of oily salt and sweet tastes good. I'd argue that a hamburger and a potato chip are vastly different in both taste and texture.

That's known as a Luther Burger, which is attributed to being created by the late singer Luther Vandross. Mulligan's in Decatur, Georgia was the first to serve them. Now Krispy Kreme and a few other stores sell them - a marketing success and only ~1,500 calories each. thomastmc 1 Share

Eric Veteran Posted November 1, 2013 Veteran Share Posted November 1, 2013 Worse enough those flavored Lays they had months ago. I seem to recall waffles flavor or something like that. Chicken and waffles. I found them quite nasty, but the cheesy garlic bread ones were pretty good.
