Too much discrepancy!

 

Surface 2 should've scored an 11 on the Verge Battery Test. But it only gave 6 hours and something.

Well, it's not like they gave the iPad Retina 10/10 for battery life... oh wait, that's exactly what they did. Biased site is biased. That's the internet for you.

Well, I'm more interested to know how their battery tests could be so different. I mean, the difference is truly stark! Maybe a faulty unit reached them...

honestly, you shouldn't really base your judgement on the word of only one or two sites. I noticed even anandtech is starting to do some shady things.

when they originally reviewerd the surface pro, they gave their battery life results,fine and fair, but when it was time to review the surface pro 2, all of a sudden, the compare was to a totally different type of battery life test, where the original surface pro had a totally different result than their official review, possibly to cast the results in a negative light. I mean, even the verge surface pro 2 battery tests showed much greater overall. Not only that, but another anandtech reviewer referenced the surface pro 2 results in a different article,and again, it was different than the official surface pro 2 review.

true, that's why its still one of my top tech sites. I just try to ignore the unbearable opinion.
