Chrome stable can't execute downloads in Metro

Just noticed that I can't run newly downloaded executables transferred via Chrome opened in Metro mode. If the file has the security bit set, it won't run. The security warning box is something similar to this:

To verify I used the Streams tool to strip away the security bit. After doing that, Chrome was able to launch the file without any trouble.

 

Just checking if others see the same happen to them?
