patseguin Global Moderator Posted November 3, 2013 Global Moderator Share Posted November 3, 2013 This being an iOS forum, I thought I'd see a lot more discussion on the Air whether it be hate or love. Have many if you guys guys bought one and what kind of experience have you had purchasing and using the new device?
AStaUK
I've ordered the 32GB WiFi version to replace my Gen3 16GB as I need the space, along with the new Product RED Smart Case. Should be getting it on Tuesday.
SMELTN
I have the iPad 2, iPad Mini and wanted a Retina, so I got an iPad Air. I have to say while it is smaller than the 2 for sure, its still huge compared to the Mini.. I LOVE the retina and I love how thin and light it is, but I think I am going to take it back and get the Mini 2. I have the 16gig Wifi Silver
patseguin Global Moderator Posted November 3, 2013 Author Global Moderator Share Posted November 3, 2013 I don't see the logic in returning it unless money is the issue. I read the new mini would be thicker to accommodate the retina, although I don't know how much. It nay not be as attractive as it was.

badb0y
The only logic is that Apple is making money and people are buying same thing over and over with little to none noticeable changes! If your talking about changes in mm's and gm's or seconds...then its no real big change!
patseguin Global Moderator Posted November 3, 2013 Author Global Moderator Share Posted November 3, 2013 There are major noticeable changes in the Air. Lightness bing the most dramatic and thinness is noticeable too. This is all not to mention the A7 chips which runs super fast.

If your talking about changes in mm's and gm's or seconds...then its no real big change! Between the Mini and the Mini 2 its a HUGE change.. Retina Display and A7 Processor? So going from the guts of an iPad 2 to the guts of an iPhone 5s is NOT a noticable change?
