  • Google: Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7 (2012 Original & 2013 New), Nexus 10; all require third-party software or device being rooted.

  • LG: G2, Optimus G Pro
  • Asus MeMO ME171.
  • Xiaomi: 1S, 2, 2S, 2A, Xiaomi Box; Meizu: MX, MX2;

  • Google Nexus 4 doesn't support USB-OTG, it is NOT compatible.

My phone has a slot for memory cards, what's the point in this?

If you need more storage on top of your internal/micro SD storage :p

I don't want something ruining the sleekness of my phone thank you.  But I see how this could be useful for some poeple. In my case, I can just swap in and swap out memory card.

I was thinking that as well, and another thought I came up with was transferring information from one person's card on to your own card. Although obviously depending on the size and number of files there could be easier ways of doing that.
