High School Classmate Reveals Obama Was A Well Known Homosexual

Playing devil's advocate here, but telling people to do this doesn't bring anything of value to the conversation either.  You just shifted it to a topic of who is required with burden of proof.

;)

I see what you are saying, but over thought the point I was trying to make. When topics like this start brewing.. they usually end up in flame wars.. I was just suggesting posting something the debunks or supports the story. That is all :D

I disagree. The election of a black president has highlighted how racist the country really is, conservatives in particular. The baseless attacks and vitriol directed at him have only weakened the GOP. Now that these issues are finally out in the open it's possible to tackle them.

I agree; I don't think there is a right or wrong time for a black president.. I think race should have nothing to do with politics.. However, since his presidency, it has this country more racially divided than ever. Not just with "race', but class warfare, religion..

With that said.. It could also be that I am a good bit older and seeing more of how wicked the world we live in really is..

Nothing is going to change until those who are racist die off. Its the people stuck in their ways and think that its still pre-civil rights era thats spreading the hate to their kids. Until these old farts die off this country won't be ready to move forward and join the other more civilized nations who have moved past this ugly point in history.

I agree on the class warfare thing too. However it goes back to the point I said earlier about those who are uppity and have forgot where they came from. Thats the reason why its Rich vs Poor in addition to the already established race war.

Indeed, but at least they can be shunned by the decent people in society. At the moment too many conservatives, especially in the religious community, are openly bigoted and are able to preach their intolerance with little criticism. The tide is starting to turn, in part because of organisations like Right Wing Watch, but there's a long way to go yet.

There is extreme racism on both sides.

Indeed, but that does not mean that both sides are equally racist.

Not at all. After I posted that, I started to think.. The "right" may have a more broad racist spectrum.. For instance, instead of just race, they may judge on religion, sexual preference, ect also, maybe be a little more vocal about it..

However, I live in the South.. and down here.. the majority of the "left" are very racist and will go out of their way to show it. At the same time, I see a lot of "right" people go out of their way to show racism.. almost like they are proud of it. It is a very sad world we live in.

That is not what I said at all. However, if you go up North, racism is not as big of an issue as it is in the South. I see Rebel flags being flown, people of both race being picked out and harassed..

Instead of the trash talk; let's find a way to debunk the story. Let's contribute to the post without all the senseless bashing.. This is why we got out post count removed.. We just got it back. :)

Do we really need to give it the attention needed to actually debunk it?  LOOK AT THE PHOTOSHOP!
