antsy
On my old Xperia Mini Pro I used to just have to hold down on an empty space and I'd get the option to either change the background or add widgets such as buttons to turn of Wifi or widgets for various apps I have installed, with my Memo Pad I just get the option to change the background, so how do I add widgets? Roger H. Veteran Posted November 9, 2013 Veteran Share Posted November 9, 2013 Are you on Android 4.0-4.3? If so then just simply go to the Apps Menu and go all the way over to the right (or just tap Widgets) at the top of that menu and bam.
KRazpopov
Look in the app drawer, there should be a widgets tab.
Jeston Veteran Posted November 9, 2013 Veteran Share Posted November 9, 2013 Go to the apps drawer and either scroll to the right all the way past your apps, or there will be a tab at the top that allows you to switch between your apps and your widgets. Tap and hold the widget you want and it will allow you to place it where you want on your home screen. Edit: ninja'd twice :P

+Frank B. Subscriber² Posted November 9, 2013 Subscriber² Share Posted November 9, 2013 For the record: In stock Android 4.4 'KitKat' widgets are added in roughly the same way as on your old Xperia.
