XBox One and Comcast OnDemand?

Hey all, I wanted to know if the Xbox One's media guide functionality would work alongside Comcast's OnDemand service. This would be even more epic on top of the functions that the XBox One does with regular cable input.

from your cable box, I don't believe the guide supports on demand, but once Comcast gets their app on there, then the on demand stuff can be integrated into the guide, like Netflix and huly are. I know Comcast has an app on xbox360,so I believe they will have one soon enough on xbox one.

the XBOX360 had Comcast ondemand, it doesn't use the "guide" it uses an app to navigate the system and does the rest through IP and IPTV... I don't know if Xbox one will have this app yet, but if the 360 still has it, I'd think Comcast might update it for the xbox one also..

 

I know on other services like TiVo Comcast did not integrate into the guide, they just kept it as a separate app only

Awesome, I watched that video earlier and it looks like the Guide feature will be epic. Hopefully Comcast adds their application to the pool soon, if its not already there. Thanks @vcfan!

Thanks @neufuse, here's hoping the Guide gets more uber-powerful. I'm not a fan of Comcast's implementation of the guide on their cable boxes. They haven't bothered to update its interface in forever, and it shows badly. They do have this Infinity X1 box now, probably to handle the customers that won't be picking up an XBox One unit.
