Moscow (AFP) - A 25-year-old Venezuelan television presenter, Gabriela Isler, on Saturday was crowned Miss Universe in Moscow in a glittering ceremony.

Judges, including rock star Steven Tyler from Aerosmith, picked the winner from a total of 86 contestants at the show, watched by millions of viewers around the world.

Last year's winner Olivia Culpo of the United States placed a diamond crown on the head of Isler, who wore a silver rhine-stone studded evening dress.

Isler's triumph was the seventh Miss Universe win for Venezuela, where beauty pageants are a source of national pride.

First thing I noticed is the make up. Damn, where's the natural skin color of her face? Second thing is her hair which looks quite nice. Then I panned down and saw that tiny waist. It's only a bit wider than the length of her hand. I need two of my hands to reach my side.

On another note, isn't Miss Universe, the DUMBEST NAME EVER!! I how can this be Miss Universe if only the earth participated? Shouldn't this be called "Miss Earth"
