Administrators Posted November 11, 2013 Administrators Share Posted November 11, 2013 Moderating is a thankless task, and we all take our fair share of negativity from members who refuse to abide by our house rules, it goes largely unnoticed by the rest of you, but we are forever policing the topics due to reports from members or general trolling by people who should otherwise think twice about posting and then get annoyed by the consequences of their actions. So today we have added a short message that shows when a moderator has hidden a post in a topic, it's also anonymous, meaning the member isn't called out for the hidden post that others can see but we now show that moderation has taken place in the topic. The benefit here is that now guests and members can see that topics are moderated where needed. It displays like so: Moderators see a toggle to view what was hidden, and the reason. We hope you like this update :) Edit: We had to disable it as it broke topics loading properly for people who saw that message. In both Chrome 32dev and IE 11 stable on Windows 7 this makes the page reload constantly when trying to scroll down. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
