Steven P. Administrators Posted November 12, 2013 Administrators Share Posted November 12, 2013 I need examples please. I can't telepathically know what to report. A Firebug report helps too, or if using Chrome, hover on the ad and inspect element then screenshot the code that is highlighted (also around the code). Steven P. Administrators Posted November 13, 2013 Administrators Share Posted November 13, 2013 The response was that the ad goes against Googles own policy for autoplaying ads with sound. Just to be sure, that is what happens here? It auto plays sound on page load? I was asked to get the target url of the ad, so it can be blocked, so if you see it again let me know where it leads too pls. There are plenty of Flash ads delivered, not only here on Neowin but they must load muted at default.. hover or a enable sound icon is what allows audio on flash ads usually. Steven P. Administrators Posted November 14, 2013 Administrators Share Posted November 14, 2013 The short answer is that Google doesn't allow auto playing sound ads.
