Sabrent USB Wifi adapter not working in Windows Vista

Recommended Posts

I have a Sabrent USB-G802 USB wireless adapter that's not working in Windows Vista. I downloaded the drivers and installed them but the adapter isn't working still. I tried manually selecting the drivers from the Sabrent folder to install but Windows says no driver were found to install. Is there any solution to this?

First guess would be faulty hardware, can you try it in any other machine to see if the adapter's working?

(second guess could be some sort of driver issue, my belkin Bluetooth adapter doesn't work on this windows 7 pc but worked fine when it used to be an xp machine)

I found a CD in the plastic packaging. I thought it lied about including a CD but it is actually a mini cd. I am going to try using the drivers from the CD

I got it working thank goodness. The packaging was so small, that I thought it lied about not including a CD or manual. I did a double take at the packaging and noticed a round shape on the outside and I realized there was in fact CD but it was a mini CD.
