My download is 45Mbps, upload is 4Mbps.

I have my 15TB server, with Plex, this is what I want streamed to my sister. To make things not cause issues on my end, it would have to stream at 2Mbps, at the minimum I want her connection to be 4Mbps (i tested, and the 4Mbps quality makes a huge difference).

So that's the situation. If I had another connection, I could get one that maybe has a higher upload, but that server computer has its own connection for downloads and the uploading. And the rest of my computers and devices have their own.

Note, we are in two totally different locations, her download is well over what is needed. I think it's 30Mbps download. It needs to be streamed vs synced or whatever you said, as Plex works this way, and I want her to have access to EVERYTHING, not just certain items I synced.

VPN slows connections no? And QoS has never worked for me, causes more issues then wanted. And I do not want to limit anything I have.

"and I want her to have access to EVERYTHING, not just certain items I synced."

Well then you put your library online, or get another internet connection.. But does not seem cost effective to me, why not just pay her $8 a month netflix subscription.

I doubt your talking TBs of home movies :) And your library can not compare to netflix ;) hehehe

No -- no its not.. Your upload pipe is 4mbps -- that is not anywhere close to be actually online..
