If everyone in existence was a zombie, what would be your choice of car?

Neither of pictures. Bigfoot, while powerful and able to run over many obstacles, is also notoriously hard to drive, maintain and eventually repair. Shelby Mustang (which could still be rigged with some sort of bullguard) on the other hand, is an awesome and fast ride, but only if you have somewhere to go.

 

I'd strongly prefer something more sustainable, well armored, with indescriptive paint job, with some room and essential storage space inside, some amphibous capabilities and mounted weaponry. Military vehicle, basically. An APC, and also not the most modern one, so that repairs can be done by myself and spares are relatively easy to obtain... well, at least when all the hell's gone loose.

My Ford Explorer, or some other SUV.  Tons of storage space inside, can be retrofitted with shelving to store more stuff, tinted windows so it's hard for people to see inside it as it goes past, a tow package and a big enough engine/transmission to pull a trailer if I needed to, 4 wheel drive to take me where I need to go, and relatively easy to work on.

 

Edit: Not to mention plenty of room to install electronic accessories, and store a rifle/pistol next to your leg, and still have room to draw it if necessary.

but if we all ended up zombies, all the nuclear reactors would have gone up Fukushima style sine no one would have been there to maintain the cooling etc .. and we'd be dead anyway along with everything else ... and this is a good point you know ... not one global disaster movie has had the nukes go up, not that I can think of  .. but, if there were a wee corner of the world left to live in, I'd have the Range Rover classic ... cant beat it.
