Tearaway reviews are really good

It's a Media Molecule title, so it's not that big of a surprise. They have proven time and again to have the Midas touch when it comes to the SONY platforms.

i was going to pick this game up however, i will wait a few months and maybe pick it up after the holidays, I will have plenty to do with the New Zelda game on the 3ds that I preordered nearly a year ago.

Well I got to try it out on a friend's Vita and I like it, its quite impressive how well they made use of all of the Vita's control options. Fun art style and solid gameplay make it a great package.

Makes me wish it was out on the ps4.

What kind of game is it? I haven't seen any videos for it, but the art style and the graphics look awesome. I would totally buy a Vita for it if Sony wasn't charging an arm and a leg for the memory cards.

I'm going to "tear" into this one at the weekend.

That is if Link Between Worlds doesn't consume my time.

Between this, Link Between Time and AC:IV. I got a busy couple of weeks :)

So far this game has been amazing, you cannot own a Vita and not own this. Only title so far for me that actually makes good use of all the vita inputs.

Finally played some last night. Brilliant game. MM are a talented bunch of developers. Everything works so well... so far. I've only just left the Orchard.

Everytime it cuts to the sun, i can't help but pull the stupidest face everytime. Thank god i wasn't on public transport!

Everyone does that. I think that's why MM even created the sun the way they did :p

Was honestly not interested in this game much at all leading up to launch but seems like most have good things to say about it.  May look at picking this up before the holidays here so I have something new to play on the flights there and back.

Tearaway looks pretty cool, but it does seem to be aimed at a younger audience. That isn't to say adults can't enjoy it, I just wouldn't go out and buy it tomorrow.

Apparently it only sold 14k in NPDs. What is wrong with you Americans?!

I'm not sure, but is it selling better elsewhere?

I do think that's a sad part of being a niche title. I've been disappointed to see many games over the years that are good and I enjoy just do little or nothing sales wise because it doesn't appeal to most gamers.

RIP 3D platformers :(

Even the new 3D Mario didn't sell well. Sucks.

Exactly, its depressing for those of us that still want and enjoy these genres.

I appreciate the effort by indie developers to bring these things back, but I miss seeing the AAA big scale games in genres that are now avoided.

I'm playing it now, about 50% complete.

What's the name of your "friend" that appears around the 30% mark? He's the cutest thing! Especially when the game requires you to take a selfie with him :D

Thinking about buying this in the upcoming sale (?11~ with PS+ IIRC). Seems like a steal considering it only just launched in November.

The game is only ?20 RRP. So it was still quite a bargain anyway.

It is definitely worth getting. Especially if you want something that will show off what the Vita could actually be.
