? on: September 22, 2013, 11:35:34 PM ?
All,

I am very pleased to announce that the developers have compiled a beta release of the new client - OurMX

A download location has been organised by the community.

www.ourmx.net/OurMX.zip

We are also in the process of setting up a new website to support the new client

www.ourmxworld.net

It is in development at the moment and content is currently being added.

A Forum has been created for bug reports.

http://www.ourmxworld.net/forums/bug-reports

Please check the bug you are reporting has not already been reported.

Please include all relevant information such as operating system, outline what you were doing at the time and a screenshot if possible.

Wow -- a much smaller program.

Not a lot of difference in appearance so far.

I'll be the pioneer here, and report back on what happens ... :p

Well, for one, OurMX does not Install in a Program folder --- just runs from its unzipped folder.

WIn 7 firewall does not automatically Add it.

For some reason, you can easily get 2 copies of OurMX running at the same time, which screws it up.

A test download just sits there.

I am DMZed ...

No Primary connection, but a Secondary works.

No .wsx connections in this version.

Success in downloading 1 file ! :woot:

This oddball Error box pops up a lot ...

OurMX is definitely not ready -- many controls do not work, and few seem to be sharing files.

Guess we'll have to wait for the un-beta -- if it ever comes.
