Hi

The buttons on the right side of my controller do not work anymore. The only way I can get them to work is if I connect the red contact patch with any of the yellow contacts via a piece of aluminium foil (see image below).

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Thanks

Thanks for linking me to a 3rd-party controller.

I don't need a new controller, I'm just trying to figure out how this can be fixed.

It's not 3rd party, it's a PS2 controller. And I'd guess it's because the controller you have is just worn out, the contacts/pcb board etc. So wouldn't it be worth the $10 to just replace it? I'm sure you could find a local game store that has them used for probably even less.
