First and foremost, this Transformation Package is so awesome, it really look like a Mac OS X Mavericks, props to those authors, and I cant even think of any great words to say.

Secondly, I really need to ask this, if you dont mind at all, It is a Query about the small program called "moveex", it is a command line tool to overwrite system files with modified ones, If you may share a lil' tip on how to do this, or maybe code another program like this... I am up for the challege and willing to learn everything here with the assistance of a PRO like you can make newbie modders like us to be good in the future like Flyakite aka Chris Kite..etc.... Thank you Sir WindowsX..  More Power...

Moveex is quite simple tool using pendingfilerenameoperations registry. Using 'moveex.exe file1' will remove file1 on next boot. Using 'moveex.exe file1 file2' will move file1 to file2 place on next boot. To make it work with system files, set AllowProtectedRenames to 1 as well but that will make some false positive reports.

If you have any question, feel free to ask and Merry Christmas. :)

These transformation packs never look like what they claim to look like, although my opinion may be visually skewed since I'm sat here posting via an iMac with Mavericks running. :p

Looking at the screenshots there is just a vague similarity but that's all.

It's not my thing, but I'll (Y) the work. Takes a lot of effort, turning Windows into something it was never designed around.

Belated Merry Xmas to all and a Happy New Year.. :)

Right now it has been my long vaction & I've been coding for 18 days now, I appreciate your kind reply Sir WindowsX, I'm almost at the deployment part of my project, I'm planning to take this to a setup package. I'm just wondering which scripting language is feasible with multiple OSes (XP, Vista, Win7-8), like the method you used with the wallpaper, cursor tweak and the theme calling (Applying the cursors, theme with the wallpaper without rebooting/logging off).. Thank you in Advanced Sir WindowsX, you can just reply right tru PM..

Any ideas, suggestions, output is much appreciated.

More Power NeoWin...

Good Day Sir WindowsX...

Well, after more than a week, I am at the deployment stage now,

1: I would call the theme via scripting:

rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL desk.cpl desk,@Themes /Action:OpenTheme /file:"C:\Windows\Resources\

Themes\UbuntuJungle.theme"

2: write some reg string value etc... And Then Do:

RUNDLL32.EXE USER32.DLL,UpdatePerUserSystemParameters ,1 ,True
RUNDLL32.EXE USER32.DLL,UpdatePerUserSystemParameters

Yea it did changed a bit but It wasnt flawlessly scripted, I am just curious or maybe you could share about the method u did with the Theme with Wallpaper??

And lastly, I would like to move the taskbar top location, any tips, tweaks, solutions?

Any guidance on this would be greatly appericated.

I just use command from HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\themefile\shell\open\command. Nothing special.

Version 3.0 Released

Happy Songkran everybody. Today I?m releasing OS X Mavericks updates as for Thai?s new year gift. It?s quite a big update especially for Windows 8/8.1 users. Since this is major update with improvements in everywhere, I?ll explain in details below.

System files improvements
Despite the fact using the most reliable system files modification and replacement method, there?s still mysterious black screen bug floating around for some unlucky users. It took me a while to investigate the cause of this problem and solution to fix and prevent it. In this version, modified system files will have permission re-configured in attempt to avoid black screen bug and tested unlucky users made it safe and sound. I also added emergency.bat file in Windows\UXBackup for power user to recovery main system files in case they need emergency fix though it?s unlikely to be used but it?s more reassuring to have. And I fixed system files issues in Windows 8/8.1 properly this since last patcher didn?t work out right.

Theme improvements
For Windows 8/8.1 users, this version comes with new OS X theme having sleek and borderless design like a real Mac. It looks very cool with ribbon disabled. I also added glass transparency support since this theme requires shadow transparency fix. As for iOS fonts like Helvetica Neue used in some websites like Facebook, using those fonts in Windows caused most non-English language unreadable and this issue is handled by substituting ?Helvetica Neue? and ?Lucida Grande? font with ?Lucida Sans Unicode? instead. Most websites including Facebook should display text properly now and I also changed 3rd-party programs? font back to ?Lucida Sans Unicode? since I no longer include new fonts.

3rd-party application improvements
After taking notes from users? suggestion in previous version, most of them are implemented in this version such as disabling hot corner feature to solve interrupt gaming control, replaced Left side caption buttons app with more reliable ones and make Aero frame UI running in absent of Windows Aero. I also updated XWidget to recent version with F4 hotkey activation. I hope the improvements of user experiences shall meet your expectations and welcome to receive further suggestions in future.

OS X Mavericks Transformation Pack 3.0 Changelog
-Added emergency.bat file in Windows\UXBackup folder for power user to fix boot issues from recovery
-Added F4 key shortcut for Launchpad activation
-Added Glass transparency support for Windows 8/8.1 with WinaeroGlass
-Added LiveTuner recommendation (Highly recommended to try since it?s safe and reversible)
-Added removing Windows 8/8.1?s Ribbon UI in system files modification
-Added system files update checking to prevent conflicts with Windows update
-Changed Aero Frame UI to be enabled by default if DWM is not detected or running
-Changed programs? font back to Lucida Sans Unicode
-Changed Left side OS X caption buttons program to LeftSider (Fixing 8/8.1 compatibilities)
-Fixed font problems with Helvetica Neue in some websites like Facebook
-Fixed replacing system files that could potentially cause freezing black screen on some cases
-Fixed system files modification problems in Windows 8/8.1 from previous version
-Improved DWM detection method using API command
-Removed hot screen corner activation as it interrupts gaming experiences
-Updated Windows 8/8.1 theme with neiio?s Lion theme
-Updated XWidget to version 1.91
