I had Compaq Evo N620c which the battery lasted only 35 minutes about. That laptop was a heater and battery sucker.

 

 

My Asus laptop lasts about 1 or so, which isn't bad. There is an energy star sticker on my laptop which means its energy efficient apparently.

I rarely unplug my laptop, but when I do, about 3.5 hours depending on what work I do.

When I bought the laptop in 2010 the battery lasted approx 7 hours, after being used pretty much every day on battery for the last 3 years... it lasts about 30 minutes :p

Worst part is that it just isn't nearly broken enough to justify buying a new machine.

I got 4hrs in my Thinkpad with a new battery now and a UltraBay battery that's basically dead anyways. :p

Wanna get a new machine that can do at least 5hrs on 1 normal battery then the 12hrs on double/extended batteries.

My home laptop (which is a gaming laptop) can usually run about 3 and a half hours. My work laptop which is a newer haswel machine can run 8 or more hours.

My MacBook Pro (Home) gets about 8-9 hours. My MacBook Air (11", work) gets over 12 hours (even though it's only rated for 9).

Zenbook prime, currently it gets around 4 hours. But it's almost never unplugged and I never really took care of the battery.

Doesn't get unplugged too often, using a tablet more often nowadays when I need something mobile, but probably 4-5ish hours depending on the usage.

I'm getting a little over 9 hours on my Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus with my usage patterns - however I don't regularly watch videos or play games so its mainly for reading/surfing, coding and Pandora streaming. This means that the CPU is almost always running at its slowest speed and the screen is usually only at about 50% bright.

I only have a Samsung Chromebook for my laptop, and it gets around 6 hours per charge.

I get over 10 hours on my Lenovo T530 with a 9 cell battery.

 

I have a spare that I swap with monthly as my main since I can't ever seem to exhaust the battery enough to swap to it!
