Has anyone won anything from Google lately?

I got a KitKat Android candy bar today and entered in the code, it was a winning code for the Nexus Tablet. Does anyone know if they will be doing an address validation before shipping?  (I accidentally left out a key part being my apartment number to this 96 unit complex).

UPDATE: It arrives tomorrow.  Here is how things went down for future reference in case you or anyone else should be on Lady Luck's side with winning like we were (RARE FOR US!!!) and it makes a GREAT Early Christmas/Birthday Gift for my Wife who's birthday is in January.  :)

 

They do not call you to verify anything, they don't even send a confirmation email which I figured was quite odd, the site when you enter the code asks you for your email address and to give them a password to create an account (obviously don't give them your email password), and then you enter in your shipping info and submit.  The system then returns you with a Winner screen with either a tablet, code for $5/Google Play credit, or a free bag of Kit-Kat mini's, followed by an email with the Play credit code.  I'm not sure about the free bag, but am figuring it is a printable coupon.

So, the next business day I called Hershey and talked to a very nice person which took my information down and said he'd forward it to their promotions department which handles the winnings.  I never got a call back or anything from them.  I should mention at this point too, that they do not have a login form or any other place on their site to check the status of this or modify anything.  So, this is one of those mysterious things that makes me wonder why they ask you to create an account when there is no place to login.  (Probably to keep people from abusing the 1 entry per person rule).   Back to the process of this, after I hung up, I figured I would hear something or at least get some sort of confirmation.  That arrived tonight out of the blue for me. 

 

I checked my email tonight and got an email from UPS with a tracking number.  I am signed up for their "UPS My Choice" system which alerts me on packages being delivered to us.  As, we had not ordered anything recently, this was a mystery.  I clicked through to the link and logged in and there it was, Confirmation that the tablet is shipped and is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.  (one day apparently earlier than their original delivery date).  Signature required type of thing too. 

 

So, long story short, about 12 days right now after winning, it will be in our hands.  Not bad for a 6-8 week waiting thing. :)

I ate one Kit Kat and was wiping the chocolate off the code when I wiped away a couple of letters. Try as I might, I couldn't figure out what the missing letters were. I'm sure that was a winner!!

You had a 33% chance of winning one of the prizes. :)  We got the tablet last night and my wife is extremely happy with her early Christmas Gift. 

 

I am finding that these kit kat bars are hard to find with the android on them.  The stores seem to place them randomly on their shelves.  When they do have them though, they are gone pretty fast, I do know that.  (within a couple of hours it seems).
