Amazon, with a quick check on eBay to see if the item can be had for less.

Ebay is a scammers paradise. I wouldn't trust it even if the item was $5 to $30 cheaper. They always get you by shipping.

I used to get most of my parts from Newegg, but not anymore after the BS that Newegg is pulling off.

I bought parts that are suppose to be new, but got parts that are clearly refurbished. (Including one time where I got two "new" hard drives with the word "recertified" written on it.)

Not only is Newegg trying to pass refurbished products as new, but then I have to pay for shipping the products.

I used to order from Newegg, but now I just use it to filter through parts (since it's vastly superior to Amazon's). The majority of my online shopping is from Amazon, and I love Prime shipping.

I tend to use Newegg to find the parts I am interested in buying (better reviews and sorting options), then look the part(s) up elsewhere. Lately I have been buying most of them from Amazon (I am a Prime member....so free shipping and generally lower product prices).

Same for me.

I like how Newegg has a better focus on PC components. They have more choices to narrow your search for things... like specific features on a motherboard.

Amazon lets you specify certain features... but not all.

I usually make my wishlists on Newegg and buy from Amazon.
